What is kept in your browser

The chat button remembers two things using local storage, which is a store that belongs to your browser rather than to us. Neither value is sent to our server, neither is readable by another site, and both are simply the number one.

• wa_engaged When you open a chat with us from the button Stops the greeting bubble appearing again once you have already talked to us
• wa_teaser_dismissed When you close the greeting bubble Keeps it closed, so dismissing it once is enough

Clearing them costs you nothing. The greeting bubble simply appears again as though you were visiting for the first time.

No analytics

We do not run Google Analytics or any other analytics script, we load no tracking pixel, and we embed no advertising tag. We do not follow you to other sites and we could not do so with what is here.

Our host keeps ordinary server records of requests, in the way every web server does, so that the site can be kept up and abuse can be dealt with. That is described in the privacy notice.

Requests that leave this site

Two things on the site reach beyond it. The group page shows the BestWeb.lk award badge from the organiser's own host, which is deliberate because the badge reflects the current verified status, and it means your browser asks BestWeb for that image. The chat button and the WhatsApp links open WhatsApp, at which point you are on Meta's service under Meta's terms.

Fonts are served from this site rather than from a font network, so reading a page here does not announce you to a third party.

How to clear it

Clearing site data for this domain in your browser settings removes both flags. Private or incognito browsing drops them when you close the window. Blocking local storage for this site is fine too, since the widget is written to carry on working without it.

The venture sites are their own

This page describes this site. A venture site that takes bookings or payments needs more than this one does, and the marketplace at zonova.lk keeps a cart and a session, so each venture states its own position on its own site.
